Meet Rayann Johanson, M.Ed., LPC-Associate
Supervised by Julia Smith, LPC-Supervisor
Rayann brings a blend of clinical expertise, advocacy, and creative insight to our practice. A graduate of Texas Christian University with her M.Ed., she has spent years navigating high-level advocacy roles, supporting both children and adults through complex systemic and personal challenges. This deep-rooted advocacy background allows her to stand firmly in your corner as you navigate your internal and external transitions.
In her clinical work, Rayann specializes in supporting those who feel like "chameleons", individuals who have mastered the art of people-pleasing and adaptation at the cost of their own identity. She creates a dedicated space for those who feel they don’t fit into traditional boxes, with a specific passion for empowering the LGBTQ+ community and creative professionals. Rayann is also Gottman Level 1 trained, and enjoys utilizing Gottman methods in her work with couples and relationships.
By integrating Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) with tailored creative interventions, Rayann helps you move beyond the uncertainty of life's transitions. Her approach is goal-oriented and future-focused, helping you establish healthy boundaries in both your physical and emotional lives. Whether you are recovering from the exhaustion of "blending in" or seeking to reclaim your authentic voice, Rayann is here to help you build a future that is unreservedly yours.
