Meet James Webster, Master's Level Intern

My name is James Webster. I am a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern New Hampshire University. I am now completing my hands-on training to become a licensed counselor. I work under Jessica Bolden, MA, LPC-S, CST, an experienced supervisor. I always follow guidelines that ensure ethical and respectful practice.

I believe everyone has a unique story. People are not broken; they are just responding to life's challenges in ways that make sense to them. I aim to create a supportive, understanding space for real change. My role is to work with you to help you explore your experiences and move toward personal growth.

I specialize in supporting those facing anxiety, trauma, identity issues, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I am dedicated to inclusive care for the LGBTQIA+ community, ensuring everyone feels safe to express their true selves without fear of judgment. My approach uses elements from different counseling styles. I want our sessions to be both practical and meaningful. Our work should balance useful strategies with a deep understanding.

Before counseling, I spent almost 30 years in leadership and finance roles. That experience showed me the pressures of workplace stress and high expectations. It also taught me the importance of personal growth and healing.

I know reaching out can feel daunting. If you are considering this journey, I care and would be thrilled to support you. Together, we can face challenges and celebrate your successes. I’ll make sure you feel empowered and understood. Let’s take this step together.
